ISP Filter
What it detects
Section titled “What it detects”Data center traffic and traffic from ISPs with known histories of bot and fraud activity appear as legitimate clicks but deliver no real user intent. The ISP Filter lets you block clicks and conversions from specific internet service providers by name.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”Integr8 resolves the ISP for each incoming request using IP intelligence data. If the resolved ISP matches any entry in your blocklist, the request is rejected in real time before attribution occurs.
The blocklist is per-filter-group, so you can apply different ISP rules to different offers or campaigns.
Configuration
Section titled “Configuration”Navigate to Offers > Fraud Detection Groups > select a filter group > ISP Filter.
-
Open the ISP Filter settings within your filter group.
-
Search for the ISP name you want to block. The list includes all major ISPs and known hosting/data center providers.
-
Select the ISP and click Add to Blocklist.
-
Repeat for each ISP you want to block, then click Save.
Blocking large ISPs that also serve legitimate residential customers (such as major telecoms) will block genuine users from those providers. Target data center and hosting ISPs first.
What happens when triggered
Section titled “What happens when triggered”When a click or conversion arrives from a blocklisted ISP:
- The request is rejected with
fraud_reason: isp_filter. - No attribution is recorded.
- The event is visible in Reports > Click Reports with the fraud reason tag.
